The Department of History invites community college students planning to transfer to Tennessee Technological University as full-time students majoring in the Department of History in the College of Arts and Sciences to apply for a faculty scholarship. The award is for $1,000.00 ($500/semester).
Requirements: The application includes a completed TTU Scholarship application form, a letter of recommendation from a community college history teacher, an academic transcript, and a 200-word essay discussing "the value of studying history in preparation for my career."
Deadline for applications: December 15
