MID-SEMESTER NOTES!

Campus Activities UPDATE!  The following category and limit has been added to the list of categories and limits which apply to Unit 2 Campus Activities for freshmen:
Technical seminars, presentations, lectures in areas related to your major (3 clock hours limit per semester)

Deadline Reminder:  The deadline for completion of HPEO activities and submission of all documentation is the last day of classes, FRIDAY, MAY 2.  Online summary paragraphs are required for almost all activity EXCEPT campus activities.  Submit summary paragraphs online to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .  Online documentation is due by 11:59 pm on May 2.  Completed purple forms must be in the Honors office before 4:30 PM on May 2.

Campus Activities:  Freshmen: Get your campus activity hours done absolutely as soon as possible.  Do NOT wait until the last few weeks of the semester to attend these activities.  Be aware of limits on various categories of activities. Be aware that departmental academic seminars and presentations usually do NOT count as campus activities.  Keep in mind that very FEW activities tend to be available in the final week or two of the semester.  To be counted complete for HPEO, you must have 20 approved hours.  19 or 18 will not count as complete.  Contact Mr. Clark at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it with any questions.

WORK IN THE ENGINEERING COMPUTER LAB (1-15-14)

If you would like to do HPEO Unit 1 service as a worker in the College of Engineering computer labs this semester, supervisor Mr. Joel Seber will be holding a mandatory meeting for NEW potential workers:  Thursday, JANUARY 23, 11:00 AM, in Clement Hall 405.  If you are interested in working for Mr. Seber, you must attend this meeting.
