Social Committee

By organizing and hosting ASG social activities, this committee provides an environment in which Honors students can relax and bond with each other.

Chair Requirements

  • Plan and submit a budget to the Steering Committee for approval at least one month before each event.
  • Plan and organize ASG events, including:
    • A week of "get to know each other" events at the beginning of the fall semester.
    • The Fall and Spring all-Honors picnics
    • A Spring ASG Charity Ball, in cooperation with the ASG Steering Committee-- finding a location, selling tickets, providing refreshments, encouraging participation, etc.
    • Game nights in the Lounge
  • Notify the Publicity Committee and ASG Events Digest in a timely manner.
