Applicants sought for Big Sib Chair position for 2012
The Big Sib Chair is a spring / summer / fall leadership position funded by a generous stipend during spring and summer. Position responsibilities include recruitment and training of Big Sibs, planning of Big Sib training, organizing and leading summer SOAR sessions, and other tasks related to Big Sibs and summer orientation. Download and print the 2012 Big Sib Chair Application form, and submit the completed form to the Honors Office by Friday, February 3. Big Sibs wanted for 2012!
Big Sibs offer incoming freshman students individualized companionship and guidance as they navigate the strange new terrain of college life. We are looking for returning Honors students who would like to be of assistance to next year's freshmen. Being a big sib involves helping out with summer SOAR, attending a training session in the spring and another in the fall, and being actively available to your assigned little sibs. Download and print a 2012 Big Sib Application form, complete it, and submit it to the Honors Office as soon as possible. Be a member of the Team Big Sib for 2012!
