ASG Steering Committee
The ASG Steering Committee: Hands-On Leadership
Because the ASG as a whole is a large organization, its Steering Committee provides management through a core group of leaders. The Steering Committee is a hardworking group that, in turn, learns teamwork, communication, and project development skills. In addition to their regular duties, each member of the Steering Committee serves as a liaison to committee chairs.
The tasks of the Steering Committee include the supervision of the co-curricular Honors/ASG activities including but not limited to the ASG committees, the Ginkgo Grant, grievance hearings, and the oversight of financial actions of the ASG. The Steering Committee is also responsible for appointing chairs of committees and dealing with the general business of the committees it oversees.
