QUALIFICATIONS:
A master’s degree or higher in (1) mathematics or (2)
a related field with a strong mathematical background which includes
at least 18 semester credit hours in graduate mathematics, and evidence
of quality teaching required. Preference will be given to candidates
with prior collegiate mathematics teaching experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Teaching courses primarily at the lower division (13-15 credit
hours per semester), demonstrating a commitment to the continued improvement
of teaching that utilizes research-based practices, advising students,
engaging in scholarly activities, participating in course and curriculum
development, providing public or professional service, and exhibiting
collegiality.
RANK AND SALARY:
Instructor; salary commensurate with background and experience.
