Picnic Shelter

Funds for this shelter were provided by the Shipley family. The building itself was constructed in the summer of 1991 by the members of the Middle Tennessee Antique Engine and Tractor Association.

Located near the main entrance of the Hyder-Burks Ag Pavilion, the picnic shelter at Shipley Farm contains a screened area for food preparation and service. Two rows of picnic tables seated under a delightful covered shelter with tall oak trees provide ample shade for outside activities. Restrooms are located just beyond the shelter.

This area of the Pavilion is used by various School of Agriculture organizations, TTU administration, Middle Tennessee Antique Engine & Tractor Association and other members of the community.
