Why are foreign languages important? How will foreign languages be beneficial in my future career? What can I do with a major in French, German, or Spanish? The Department of Foreign Languages at Tennessee Technological University is hosting a Careers and Foreign Languages Symposium to answer these questions and more on Monday, October 21st at 3:30 pm in the Tech Pride Room (1st floor) of the Roaden University Center. The guest speakers include Jessica A. Cole, a French teacher from Sequatchie County High School; Colin R. Alford, an entrepreneur who is incorporating German into different projects involving technology; and Daniel Alfaro, Mexico Area Manager at Averitt Express. All are welcome and refreshments will be served at the end of the presentations.
