You are Required to have Health Insurance

All International Students are required to have Health and accident insurance during the time that they are in the U.S. Students may elect to purchase their own insurance coverage or purchase the TTU Student Insurance Plan offered by Pearce and Pearce, Inc. The TTU plan provides hospital, surgical, basic medical, supplementary medical, and catastrophic services as well as evacuation and repatriation. Students purchasing private insurance must purchase something equivalent to the TTU plan.

IMPORTANT: You may only choose the ANNUAL option in the FALL Semester enrollment period.

Insurance Options

IMPORTANT NOTICE: You may only choose the ANNUAL or Fall only and or Spring/Summer options in the FALL Semester enrollment period.

• Unless you elect to pay for a different premium, your student account will automatically be charged at Fall and Spring registration. If you plan to graduate in the Spring you need to verify this with a letter from your academic advisor.

Student over 25 years old will be required to pay more for their insurance. Please inquire with the Office of International Education. 

NOTE:

• Optional Dental Annual Insurance is available for Initial Enrollment only for an additional $179.00 per year per person.
• Students can not add medical insurance 30 days after any semester has begun.
