Accelerated Degree Programs

Accelerated Degrees | 2+2 Partnership with Regional Community Colleges
2+2 = two years community college, then two years with Tennessee Tech

Accelerated Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) | 2 + 2 Program

Tennessee Tech University's Interdisciplinary Studies accelerated 2+2 degree is a higher educational partnership with two community colleges in our region: Roane State (Eastern Region) and Motlow State (Southern Region).

  • The first two years are taken through a community college and the next two years are taken with TTU at a community college location.
  • The program is designed to offer the same experience at the distance locations as students would get on the main campus.

Students committing to the 2 + 2 program are highly motivated, independent, disciplined learners.

  • In a very few semesters, graduates could:
    • Achieve higher earnings potential with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
    • Advance to a management level
    • Increase marketable skills and gain greater career satisfaction

B.S. Degree Concentrations Offered Through 2 + 2

  • Organization Development
