Anne West Wins Constitution Day Essay Contest
Anne West, IE student from Nashville, won first place in the 2008 Constitution Day Essay contest sponsored by the TTU History Department. She was awarded $250.00 for her essay entitled I Pledge Allegiance to the Flag...To Burn or not to Burn."
Upon graduation, Anne plans to work in an industry where she can make a significant change in decreasing waste and increasing safety of the worker and environment.
Constitution Day is celebrated on September 17 to commemorate the September 17, 1787 signing of the U.S. Constitution.
