• 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Hold a current State of Tennessee license as an EMT-B or IV.
• Take the COMPASS test which be given April 18, 2007.
• Take an EMT basic given on April 27, 2007.
• Take the psychological exam given on April 27, 2007.
• Participate in an interview conducted by members of the pre-hospital community. This will be held on May 15, 2007.
• Receive an acceptance letter from the paramedic course director.
• Refer questions to: Dennis Parker, Program Coordinator
