Academic & Client Technologies

The Academic & Client Technologies (ACT) group consists of a manager, assistant manager, seven microcomputer specialists, one web and instructional support specialist, and one documentation/training/PC lab/site license specialist and approximately thirty student workers. ACT supports the use of available technologies to enhance and support instruction and research. ACT also supports University Computer Labs across campus by providing trained workers, documentation and training classes. ACT provides microcomputer support for offices across campus including software installation, new purchase consultation and software site licenses.

Supervises student Help Desk in the University PC Labs in Clement Hall 313 and Johnson Hall 214. Responsible for University PC Lab Reservation system. Coordinates many of the campus site licenses.
