Eagle Online (Web for Students access to
registration, grades, etc.)
Eagle Online Web for Students is an integrated system that gives students
online access to their records including grades, registration, financial aid,
and other services over the Internet. To use Eagle Online:

Click Registration, Grades, Student Services, Bill
Payment

Enter your Social Security Number without dashes or slashes

Enter your PIN. (If you do not know your PIN, either
click on 'Forgot Your PIN' and follow the instructions or visit the Registration Center, Derryberry Hall Room 156, with photo ID.)

PC Lab Account (Faculty
and Students)
This account allows students to access email (inbox.tntech.edu),
ResNet, the terminals in the library
for the online
catalog, and the
PC Labs. Word processing,
spreadsheet,
database and graphics packages, as well as many
technical programs are available.
All enrolled students and faculty
members receive PC lab accounts automatically.
Staff members
may email
Dwight Hutson
to request an account.
iLearn account (Online instruction)
Students may be enrolled in courses which use iLearn to deliver online
instruction. This is noted in the
Schedule of
Classes by the notation " <-Course listed
above involves an online component" All students will be added
to their iLearn courses on the first day of the term.
- Access to iLearn is the same as for your email or to log in the PC
Labs.
Faculty may request an
iLearn
course prior to the start of each semester and after completing
initial training.
Atlas Account (Library)
Access to TTU's online card catalog from the library terminals is
available through PC Lab Accounts which all students and faculty
receive automatically.Library staff requiring an Atlas account
should email Frank Bush.
Banner Account
A Banner account gives access to administrative and business records,
including student and financial records (authorized as appropriate for the performance of
university duties).
Faculty and staff members who need
access to Banner may fill out the
Request
for Banner Account.
Banner Self Service
Gemini Account (VMS)
An account on Gemini provides access
to a few specific scientific applications and programming languages. Student accounts
are only available for students in classes requiring access to the specific programs
located only on Gemini.
New faculty or staff who need a Gemini account may fill
out the Request for an Academic
VMS Account or contact
Frank Bush.
IWeb Account
(Instructional Web Server)
IWeb is the Instructional Web server
(iweb.tntech.edu) for faculty use. Use the online form below to request a
directory for professional and informational pages, as well as for each class
being taught.
myTTU Portal
MyTTU is your personalized access
to web services. Use your TTU Domain username and password (same as for
Exchange email). You can also access Banner and Banner Self Service
through this portal on the "Work" tab.
TTU Domain (Faculty, staff, or students
maintaining an organization's web site)
All faculty and staff have TTU Domain Accounts. These are
used when you maintain a web site, whether for a department (TTU web), TTU
organization, or for
instructional purposes (Iweb). In addition, access to
some TTU web sites may be restricted and
require that you logon. If you are asked to logon by your browser when
attempting to reach a specific TTU site, you should use your TTU Domain
account, except for Web for Faculty/Advisors which uses your SS Number and a PIN.
All new faculty and staff beginning Fall
2004 whose email is being delivered via
the Exchange Server are using their TTU domain accounts when they
access their email either through programs such as Outlook or via the web at http://rim.tntech.edu

TTUMIS Account (Administrative computing)
An account on TTUMIS gives access to student and alumni records (authorized as appropriate for the performance of
university duties).
Faculty and staff members who need
access to TTUMIS may fill out the Request
for Administrative VMS Account or contact Joanne Longfellow at 3986 or Rick
Cashion at 3973.
TTUWeb Account (TTU Campus Web Server)
TTUWeb is the main campus web server
for departments and university offices with URLs beginning with
www.tntech.edu.
Student organization web sites are also on this server, but at URLs beginning
with orgs.tntech.edu Make a request to set up a departmental or organizational web site
or to change the individual responsible for the site using the
online form below.
Web for Faculty/Advisors
This account provides faculty members and advisors access to records in the SIS Plus
database using web technology. It allows faculty members to see their teaching
assignment schedules, a list of students in each of the their courses,
curriculum and academic information about students, and gives them the ability
to enter mid-term progress for freshmen and to enter official grades.
