PC Labs Downtime Thursday (8/16/06)
"We will be performing necessary upgrades to one of our PC Lab servers on Thursday. As part of this process, all PC Lab workstations will have to be taken off the network and shut down for a period of time. We are planning things so as to minimize the downtime in open labs such as the Library’s, but you can expect them to be down for at least an hour Thursday afternoon. We will not bring them down before noon, and they should be back up by 5:00 PM at the latest. We will bring them down remotely, but someone from ITS may be by to shut the PC Lab printers down and power the systems back on when the time comes."

Historical Abstracts and America: History and Life downtime Thursday. ()
There will be a 60-minute period of scheduled downtime for the Historical Abstracts and America: History and Life databases on Thursday, August 17, 2006 from 12:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. During that period of time, the database servers will be moved to a new location within the data center. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
