Two more weeks to come for a Library Tour this semester! (11/17/06)
The last of the regularly scheduled fall semester Library tours will be offered on
Wednesday, Nov. 29.
If you want to join us for a fun tour of the building and see where our favorite resources are, be at the Information Desk at 2:00 or at 3:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday through November 29.
Faculty are invited to use the tour as an assignment.

Problems with Netlibrary E-Books (11/16/06)
We are currently experiencing problems with the links to our Netlibrary E-Books. Netlibrary has a solution to the problem, but it might take a few days for them to fix the problem. Please check back in a few days if you are having problems accessing a Netlibrary ebook that you are looking for in the catalog.

Get Ready For the 3rd Annual Varsity Festival of Short Films! (11/13/06)

There will be two awards presented at the screening [Screening Date: Friday, March 23 / Time: 7:00 pm / Place: Backdoor Playhouse] the Jurors' Choice Award and the Audience's Choice Award. Entries are to be submitted to the Media Center, Volpe Library.

C.P. Snelgrove Memorial Coming Soon! (11/9/06)

A memorial is being constructed in memory of C.P. Snelgrove in front of the Angelo and Jennette Volpe Library. C.P. Snelgrove was the University's first professional librarian. For 38 and a half years, from 1936 to 1974, Snelgrove served as TTU's chief librarian.

- The Angelo & Jennette Volpe Library Archives Department has a collection of three boxes of papers that were donated by the retired C.P. Snelgrove relating to events at TTU.
Gale Databases Working Again! (11/2/06)
You can now access all Gale Databases again in the research databases list, through the Tennessee Electronic Library, or the trial Opposing Viewpoints Database.
