Most Valuable Work Study Student! ()

Afshin Eskandarnia received a certificate for placing honorable mention for the 2008 Most Valuable Work Study award. The Angelo & Jennette Volpe Library is pleased to have Afshin in the Serials Department.

Afshin’s supervisor, Nelda Gains, wrote “Working with approximately 1,600 journal issues received by the library monthly, Afshin has a willing and eager spirit to perform all tasks assigned. He is adept at processing journals for database check-in, shelving, and binding preparation and goes the extra mile with his keen sense of detecting irregularities and reporting them. His reliable work entitles Afshin the rare student privilege of processing journals by himself on days his supervisor is absent. Along with his valuable work ethic, Afshin’s endearing smile and sense of humor earns him the title of the Most Valuable Work Study Student!”
