Privleges at Other Libraries

TBR (Tennessee Board of Regents) Libraries

TTU students, faculty and staff may borrow materials from the libraries of other TBR institutions. To do so:

For students in off-campus courses, the borrower's form is available from the off-campus Associate Directors. The TTU user agrees to return materials to the lending library and to observe other regulations of the lending library. The TBR libraries are: Austin Peay State University, East Tennessee State University, Middle Tennessee State University, Tennessee State University, and the University of Memphis, all the Tennessee Community colleges, and the Tennessee technology centers.

University of Tennessee Libraries

TTU students, faculty, and staff may borrow materials from the libraries of the University of Tennessee. To do so:

For students in off-campus courses, the borrower's form is available from the off-campus Associate Directors. The TTU user agrees to return materials to the UT Library. Other services available to the TTU user under this agreement are online database search service at cost and access to all book, reference, reserve, audiovisual, periodical, document and microform collections within the UT Libraries.

OCLC Reciprocal Faculty Borrowing Program

Under this program TTU faculty are given use privileges at a number of research and academic libraries nationwide. All participating libraries grant access to their collections and most grant borrowing privileges. To participate in the program the faculty member should take the following steps:

The faculty member is responsible for returning materials to the lending library. A list of participating institutions and information on the specific policies of many institutions are available at the Reference and Information Desk in the TTU University Library.
