About the Department
Tennessee Tech is located in Cookeville, TN about 75 miles east of Nashville and 110 miles west of Knoxville on Interstate 40. Cookeville, with a population just under 30,000, sits on the Highland Rim of the Cumberland plateau. Outdoor recreational opportunities are numerous and scenic waterfalls and lakes are nearby.
