Since 1996, many MBA students have served as Mayberry Graduate Assistants. Here is a brief report on some of those Mayberry alumni.
Dan Cooper – Aug. 1998 – Aug. 2000
Dan Cooper graduated in May 2000 and began work at Andersen in Chattanooga as staff auditor. The auditing division is part of the assurance and business advisory department of Andersen. He and his wife Sonya recently bought their first home in Ringgold, Georgia.
Stephen Flatt – Dec. 1999 – Dec. 2000
After grduating in December 2000, Stephen Flatt accepted a job as a Demand Flow Analyst for Doane Pet Care Company of Brentwood, Tennessee, and is involved in supply chain management activities. Stephen recently married Kristy Warren and they reside in Nashville. Stephen plans on working on his APICS CPIM certification.
Cass Larson – Aug. 1996 – Aug. 1998
After graduating from TTU, Cass accepted a position with the Tennessee Valley Authority at Nashville as a Rate Analyst. He was later promoted to Strategic Pricing Specialist, responsible for innovative rate design and enhancement. Cass has, recently, accepted a new position as a Senior Financial Analyst in the TVA Corporate Finance Dept., working with internal groups to help them design and implement products and value proposals. He was a Tennessee Quality Award Examiner for 2000 and is helping Stratford High School, in Nashville, in their quality journey.
Sandra Robbins – Dec. 2000 – May 2001
Sandra has recently accepted an internship offer from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee. She will be relinquishing her position as Mayberry graduate assistant in order to further her interests in the medical profession. She will return to the MBA program at TTU in the Fall of 2002 to complete her degree.
