This is your online application guide. The steps below explain the application process.

Step 1

Apply online (PREFERRED) or complete and mail the paper applicationpdf_icon_sm for Graduate School admissions along with nonrefundable application fee $35 domestic students, $40 international students. It is highly recommended that you apply online (www.tntech.edu/eo) so that you may monitor the progress of your application as well as pay the application fee online.

If you apply online you will still need to follow Steps 2 through 5 to complete the application process.

Step 2

Complete and mail 3 pdf_icon_smLetters of Recommendation

(The M.B.A. program only requires one letter of recommendation).

Step 3

Official transcripts from ALLinstitutions attended beyond high school. Official transcripts are sent directly from the institution to Tennessee Tech, not submitted by the student. International students may submit attested transcripts. Official copies are to be sent directly to Office of Graduate Admissions. (See address in Step 5)

Step 4

pdf_icon_smStudent Health FormDocumentation required of 2 MMR vaccinations as well as 2 doses of the Varicella (chicken pox) vaccine. International students must also provide documentation of the TB Skin Test completed within 6 months prior to registration.

The Counseling Center administers the following standardized tests for a fee: Graduate Record Examination (GRE) - Subject Tests only; and the Miller Analogies Test (MAT)

Once all materials have been received, the application file will be evaluated for admission. This is completed by the individual departments (with the exception of the Ed.S. programs in Counseling and Psychology and Curriculum and Instruction where the Office of Graduate Admissions performs the evaluation).

After an admission recommendation is made, Graduate Admissions will notify the student.
