The Bryan Fine Arts Building, home to the Departments of Music and Art, opened in 1981. The building is named in honor of distinguished Tennessee composer and teacher Charles Faulkner Bryan who was also an early music faculty member at TTU. The building is a 55,000 square-foot structure that includes 28 faculty offices/teaching studios, four music classrooms and two art classrooms, individual and small ensemble practice rooms, a large ensemble rehearsal space, a small recital hall, and Wattenbarger Auditorium, the University’s main concert venue. The offices of the Department of Music administer programs for the degree Bachelor of Music.

Unauthorized persons in Bryan Fine Arts Building during times of official closing will be ejected by University Police and are subject to University disciplinary and/or statutory procedures. Students wishing access to the building during times of official closing must obtain advance permission from the Departmental Office at 931/372-3161.
