Students of all ages, parents, alumni and friends, please accept this cordial invitation to come and experience the region’s best of music and art here at TTU.
The Department of Music and Art presents hundreds of concerts and exhibits annually. Not only that, we sponsor numerous outreach activities for the entire Upper Cumberland community. Our activities come in all shapes and sizes where everyone from children to retirees will find many things of interest. Almost all of our events are free, and the public is most welcome. To find out more, go to the Events Calendar.
To highlight just two of our most popular specialties , take the time to explore our Appalachian Center for Craft, just off Interstate 40 on beautiful Center Hill Lake near Smithville, Tennessee, and also the Bryan Symphony Orchestra. The Bryan Symphony is a lively collaboration begun in 1967 between the University and the greater community with a five-concert subscription season featuring national soloists.
To have a nationally recognized faculty in the arts within a “technological” university is a testament to the high priority Tennessee Tech University places on providing a culturally rich atmosphere for its students and the entire region.
High school students, once you visit TTU you too will find many reasons to come back, either to experience the art and the music, or to enroll in one of our outstanding degree programs in music or art. Please come see and hear us in action. If it is your first time on our campus, you will be very pleasantly surprised!
