Kristin Hauser is an Adjunct Faculty member teaching Music Appreciation in
the Music and Art Department at Tennessee Technological University and she
also creates the program notes for the Bryan Symphony Orchestra. Originally
from Ohio, Kristin received a Bachelorıs degree in Music Education from the
Ohio State University. She taught middle and high school band before
attending the University of Georgia for a Masters degree in Woodwind
Performance and to begin work on an additional Masters degree in Musicology.
She has performed as a bassoonist with several orchestras including the
Valdosta Symphony, the Williamsport Symphony, and the Roanoke Symphonyıs
production of the Nutcracker. Currently she performs with the Cookeville
Community Band and the Greensleeves Early Music Consort.
