Orchestras

University Orchestra

The University Orchestra is open to all students at Tennessee Tech that have experience playing a stringed instrument, regardless of major. Orchestra is an ensemble class (MUS1080-001) and rehearses on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, from 4:30-5:45 p.m. The orchestra performs several concerts each academic year, and regularly collaborates with the Tech Chorale. Wind and Brass players are assigned by their studio teachers. If you participated in orchestra in high school and find yourself missing it, here is your opportunity to play again. If you have any questions, please contact orchestra director Dan Allcot.
