Information sheet for award winners
Each student winning an award should fill out an "Information Sheet for Students."
Once a student is notified of winning a scholarship or award, notify them of this site. Please encourage students to submit the form as soon as possible; we can be working on releases while waiting for photos to be taken or processed.
Description of award
Many awards or scholarships need an explanation of why they are awarded, their monetary value, etc. Many times the student does not know the background of a memorial scholarship, for instance. Provide Public Affairs with a description of the award and explain what qualifies the student for an award. Details about your awards ceremony are also needed. Special guests or speakers, the number of awards given and outstanding facts about department achievements are also useful.
