News Bureau
Covering the News
As a division of TTU's Public Affairs Office, the News Bureau provides media outlets, as well as faculty, staff and students, with news and information about all aspects of the university. We work to promote a positive image of the university and to support TTU's strategic goals.
Producing the Messages
A director and writer produce news releases about university events and research. We develop and maintain relationships with media contacts. We contribute to the university's alumni magazine, Visions, and produce copy for the web site and social media sites. The office also provides an online Experts Guide and produces the university's on-hold messages.
Building the Relationships
We encourage faculty, staff and students to build relationships with our office so that we can publicize excellence in research, service and programs found at the TTU.
