Qigong (Chee-Kung)

The practice of Qigong is done in place and relates to internal energy and health. The history of this art dates back nearly 3,000 years; today some hospitals use these visualization and exercise techniques to aid patients in recovery. The movements in Qigong can be modified to fit a wide variety of strength, balance, and flexibility levels. Qigong can even be practiced sitting in a chair. Breathing, movement and mental focus are the three areas most affected by the practice of Qigong.
