The web director acts as developer, designer, coordinator, and manager of Tennessee Technological University's web sites and content management system to support its missions and marketing goals. His/Her responsibility is to work closely with the Information Technology department and serve as liaison with the systems and operations staff. He/She also cooperates with various campus units to develop new and innovative uses of the TTU web site, manages all official University social networking sites, and participates in the development and planning of TTU's overall marketing strategy..
