  1. What is your favorite thing about TTU?
    I love the size of the campus and its diversity. It’s not too big or too small and there are plenty of opportunities to meet new people and make new friends.
  2. Favorite color? Why?
    My favorite color is most definitely pink! I'm not a “girly girl”, but I honestly believe that if everyone had a little pink in their lives, the world would be a much better place!
  3. Favorite sports team? Why?
    I don't have a favorite sports team. I have not had much time to enjoy many of the sporting events on campus. However, my roommates and I have a really unique racquetball team if that counts. ;-)
  4. Favorite activity/event at TTU?
    My favorite activity at Tech so far has to be performing with the gospel choir. We practice every Thursday, giving us a time not only to sing songs of praise, but also to sit and catch up with everyone. It is a time where I can clear my head and receive a little uplift and encouragement towards the end of my week, enough to last me until the weekend.
  5. Favorite food on campus?
    My favorite campus food item is the Italian Meatball Sub at Mondo Subs. After a long day of classes, it's always nice to take a bite into a warm delicious sub.
  6. Favorite place to go eat off of campus?
    Cheddar's is my new fave restaurant. It's easy on the pallet and my wallet at the same time.
  7. Favorite thing to do in Cookeville (off campus)?
    I love going to Wal-Mart with my roomies. That is our favorite hang out spot hands down! When I’m not at Wal-Mart, I’m running around town with friends.
  8. Advice for college freshman from experience?You're going to hear this from everyone you run into on campus, but it was the best advice that I have received so far since I've been here. GET INVOLVED! It will make your stay here much easier and more fun at the same time, and do not be afraid to make friends. You come to school to learn, but you're also here to enjoy yourselves, so do just that. ENJOY!!!!
  9. Favorite class at TTU?
    My favorite class would have to be History 2020. In grade school, I never cared too much for the subject, but everything I have studied this semester has coincided with events that have taken place in recent years leading up to the 2008 election. It seems as though history has been repeating itself lately, which makes learning about the past all the more enjoyable.
  10. Favorite TTU tradition?
    Week of Welcome was a blast for me! I met up with old friends, consumed free food and enjoyed all of the activities that went on throughout the week. It was a great way to interact and get to know my new roommates, as well. All in all, it was an excellent way to start off the new school year.

    Student Government Association, GeoClub, Member of United Voices of Praise, NSBE
