1. What is your favorite thing about TTU?
The community aspect that the university possesses. There are over 9,000 students, yet you can always find a familiar face. I love the size of the campus and my advisor is so helpful.
2. Favorite color? Why?
My favorite color is black because it goes with everything and it always makes me feel comfortable if I can blend in, yet stand out. Otherwise, Grey, I don’t really know, it is just my favorite color T-shirt to wear.
3. Favorite sports team? Why?
The University of Tennessee Volunteers because I was raised on going to football and lady vol’s basketball games, my first dog was named Smokey, and both of my parents are alumni. I also have pride in my state.
4. Favorite activity/event at TTU?
My favorite thing to do at TTU is to walk around the campus during early fall and spring because I get to see and talk to everyone, watch the sports being played at the intramural fields and Sherlock Park, and get exercise, too. I also love homecoming and Greek Week because that is when most come out and are active on campus.
5. Favorite food on campus?
The caf-the sandwiches are not too bad.
6. Favorite place to go eat off of campus?
Cosmo’s, it’s always open and Cheddars-good food/pretty cheap!
7. Favorite thing to do in Cookeville (off campus)?
I love to go to Burgess and Cummins Falls and enjoy nature. Laser tag is a lot of fun if you have a few dollars to spend.
8. Advice for college freshman from experience?
GET INVOLVED!!! Do not go home every weekend, but check in at least every other day. STUDY, do not procrastinate!
9. Favorite class at TTU?
My most enjoyable classes have been general and educational psychology and my journalism classes.
10. Favorite TTU tradition?
I love the TTU Blizzard basketball game!
11. Campus/Community Involvement?
I’m a member and officer in a Panhellenic sorority, Collegiate FFA, Order of Omega, Lambda Alpha Sigma, and Collegiate 4-H. I’m also involved in the Baptist Collegiate Ministry and I attend Steven Street Baptist Church while at school.
