About the Parent Association
The Tennessee Tech University Parent Association
is an organization committed to the success of their students.
A number of university administrators realized the need and importance
of creating such an organization, and thus the Parents Association
was born. The association was created out of a need for a direct
line of communication between the university and parents. University
officials feel strongly that this positive relationship between
the university and the parents will strengthen the student as he
or she moves toward graduation.
The Parent Association is currently organizing its
formal Board of Trustees. Once this board has been established,
they will
begin shaping the mission and vision of the organization. At
that time,
a clearer picture about the ideals and purpose of the organization
will be made public. However, it is safe to assume that everything
the association stands for and promotes leads to supporting students
through graduation.
