Allison Vice is new to the PBS&I project but has loved being a part of the team. She has her bachelor’s in Special Education from TN Tech. University. She is hoping to start her Master’s soon in Applied Behavior Analysis or a similar field. Last year she worked in a special needs behavior classroom at Algood Elementary in Putnam County. She is thankful to have had that experience so she can pass along what she has learned to other teachers. Allison has been involved in the special needs community for many years due to the fact that her sister has autism. She decided she wanted to work with children with special needs when she attended a social skills summer camp for children with autism when she was in middle school. Ever since then her focus has been trying to help improve the quality of life for any student she comes into contact with. Allison loves working for the PBSI project by helping schools look at behavior in a different way and supporting teachers in their classrooms. She hopes to continue in this journey for many years while learning as much as she can so that she can pass the knowledge on to others. |
