Internships help provide you with networking opportunities that may lead to future jobs. Many TTU students have found leads to permanent jobs through their internships.
Students can complete their internships at a variety of businesses in the middle Tennessee area. The internships are usually three credit hours, but up to nine credit hours can be received. Internships can be completed in the spring, summer, or fall, depending on students' schedules. During a regular semester, internships require about 15 hours of work per week. Students may choose other jobs that complement their skills and career goals, as well. Students are normally not paid for their internship work so that they may receive college credit, but many internships can lead to full-time job opportunities.
