Dr. Queen Ogbomo holds a (B.A. Hons.) in History from Bendel State University (now Ambrose Alli University), M.S. Education, (Eastern Illinois University, Charleston Illinois) and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction (Indiana State University, Terra Haute, Indiana), U.S.A. She has 11 years of classroom teaching and holds teaching certificates from Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio states, United States. She previously taught at the university level at Miller College, Battle Creek, Michigan. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Tennessee Technological University, Knoxville, Tennessee Campus. She has taught courses in the area of techniques of teaching Mathematics, Science, Multiculturalism in Education, Educational Psychology and currently teaches Residency 1 Seminar. Her current research interest is in the Role of Science and Nature Centers in the teaching of science in schools. She also has expertise in grant writing and school improvement
