Areas of Responsibility:

  • Oversees the daily operation of Pinkerton Quad and Crawford Hall
    • Property inventory
    • Facility follow-up
    • Provides recommendations to the Director on facility improvements and R&R on long term plans for Pinkerton Quad & Crawford Hall
    • Maintains the day-to-day occupancy of Pinkerton Quad and Crawford Hall
    • Pinikerton Quad and Crawford Hall key inventory
    • Supervises the Pinkerton Quad and Crawford Hall HD
    • With the HDs provides support and direction for the RAs
    • Maintains staff duty schedule for Pinkerton Quad and Crawford Hall
    • Supervises student help desk (scholarship) workers
    • Staff programming and Hall Council
    • Interim and Summer School
    • Coordinate SOAR Assignments
    • Pinkerton Quad and Crawford Hall RAs and HDs
  • Equally shares duty with other 2 Coordinators
    • All staff are on call 24/7 but on duty about every 3rd night and 3rd weekend
    • Coordinates staff duty roster for the area
  • Conduct
    • Meets with residents about behavior issue
    • Refers issues to the Dean of Studens as necessary
    • Maintains paperwork associated with conduct
  • Summer School
    • Supervises, selects and trains summer HD and RA staff
  • Coordinates admissions tours and show rooms
  • Committee work with other Area Coordinators
    • HD and RA selection process
    • HD and RA training
    • Staff development
    • Staff recognition
    • Help desk selection and training
    • Staff policies, procedures and manual updates
    • Department newsletter
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director

Day-To-Day Supervision:

  • Pinkerton Quad and Crawforrd Hall RAs and HDs
  • Student Workers (help desk)
