I am the primary coordinator for Biology I, Biology II, and Zoology laboratories and assist with coordinating other laboratories. I manage a cadre of undergraduate and graduate teaching assistants; supervise student workers and a variety of volunteers in the production of learning experiences. This position has many responsibilities including but not limited to: teaching; ordering and inventory of supplies; safety and hazardous materials management; maintenance of the College of Arts and Sciences motor pool; management of the departmental greenhouse; key control; technology troubleshooting; and many other duties. This position also functions as a general problem solver for the biology department, which requires adaptability and creativity in order to meet the variety of responsibilities associated with this position.
I am also an adjunct instructor.
