1Both PHYS 3120 and 3610 are required and will be offered in alternate years.

3Only one of either PHYS 4710 or 4720 is required for Option II.  Both are required for
Option I.  Students in Option II will select an approved program of at lease 14 semester
hours in other areas of science or engineering.  The number of elective hours is thus
