Parent Orientation
Congratulations! Your son or daughter has chosen to join a wonderful family here at Tennessee Tech University. We are excited about the many opportunities that await all of our students in 2012. Parent Orientation is part of the freshman SOAR program and allows you to meet the faculty, administrators and staff who will be working with your student during his/her college career.
Maybe this is your first child to attend college, or maybe you're an "old pro" at the college process. Either way, you're probably a little apprehensive about sending this child to college. Do you still have some questions about what your student needs to do next to ensure that their start at TTU will be a smooth transition? Wondering about who will help your child register for classes, where he or she will eat meals, or just have some fun? All of these questions, and more, will be answered at Parent Orientation this summer during SOAR.
Plan to attend a SOAR session with your incoming freshman student(s) and watch students prepare to spread their wings and fly as a Tennessee Tech Golden Eagle during SOAR 2012.
