2+2 exhibit at Craft Center through Feb. 18

A metals and wood exhibit by Robert Marsh, Cory Robinson, Jeffery Clancy and David Clemons, entitled 2+2, will be shown in Gallery Two of the Appalachian Center for Craft through Feb. 18. The exhibition includes the work of two woodworkers and two metalsmiths. Works range from functional and sculptural furniture to abstract metal sculpture.

Other exhibits at the Appalachian Center for Craft

A metals exhibit by Natasha Seedorf, entitled Ritual Objects: Sculptural Jewelry, will be shown in Gallery One through Feb. 11.

Mary Frisbee Johnson will present a metals and jewelry exhibit, entitled New Works in Tin and Silver, through March 10 in the North Windows Gallery.

TTU Music

The Brass Arts Quintet will present a faculty ensemble concert Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 7:30 p.m. *THIS CONCERT HAS BEEN CANCELLED BECAUSE OF ILLNESS.

Lynn Rice-See will present a guest piano recital on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 7:30 p.m.

Pops Night for Trombones will be held on Friday, Feb. 8, at 7:30 p.m.

Pops Night for Trumpets will follow at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8.

Amanda Cardinal will present a senior recital on Saturday, Feb. 9, at 3 p.m.

There will be a Bryan Symphony Orchestra concert on Sunday, Feb. 10, at 3 p.m.

Joan Derryberry Art Gallery

Melissa Anne Morgan will present an exhibit in fiber art and surface painting in the Joan Derryberry Art Gallery through Feb. 8. There will be a gallery talk and reception on Feb. 7 at 4:30 p.m.

The Appalachian Center for Craft is located six miles off Hwy. 56 (Interstate 40, Exit 273) near Smithville. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The Joan Derryberry Art Gallery is located on the first floor of the University Center and is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
