Anderson & Swallows tapped as ambassadors for their caring, hard-working contributions

Debbie Anderson and Charles Swallows "are some of the nicest people I have met here in the past 25 years," says Tom Furtsch, professor of Chemistry at Tennessee Technological University.

"I met Debbie and Charles while they were working in the bookstore. Having lost their positions when the bookstore changed operations, both Debbie and Charles took positions as janitors. They both work regular shifts in the Bryan Fine Arts Building and extra shifts where they're needed -- often here in Foster Hall. They'd be welcome here anytime; they're obviously some of the hardest workers on the university's staff, and they're fine 'ambassadors.'"
