Student members of TTU’s Visual Arts Society have selected some of their pieces across a variety of media for an exhibition, “Best of VAS,” in the Craft Center’s North Windows Gallery.

All of the society’s student members are working toward a bachelor’s degree in fine art. Many of the students get together once a week to critique each other’s work and to discuss how they are developing and improving as artists. Critiqued pieces are the basis of the exhibition, which is free and open to the public.

The Craft Center galleries are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Craft Center is conveniently located approximately six miles from Interstate 40 at exit 273 (Smithville/McMinnville). Go south on state Route 56; turn left immediately after crossing Hurricane Bridge. This drive leads to the Craft Center.
