thumb Boyd_02Two artists are pairing up in an exhibition to show different ways of working with glass in Gallery One at the Appalachian Center for Craft at Tennessee Tech University.

Cortney Boyd and Jessi Moore both create pieces that reflect and define personal identity. Boyd’s works are mostly of cast glass and are made to hang on a wall. Moore uses blown glass components to create a whole.

The show will be up from Monday, Aug. 13, until Wednesday, Sept. 26. The galleries are free and open to the public.

The Appalachian Center for Craft is conveniently located approximately six miles from Interstate 40 at Exit 273 (Smithville/McMinnville). Go south on Hwy. 56; turn left immediately after crossing Hurricane Bridge. This drive leads to the Craft Center.
