Coffee County’s Mills recognized by TTU

thumb AS-CoffeeTennessee Tech University graduate student Jonathan Mills, of Tullahoma, received the Gordon B. Pennebaker Scholarship this spring from the College of Arts and Sciences.

Mills, son of Michael and Mary Ann Mills, is studying biology and plans to pursue a career in wildlife biology for the state or a federal agency. At TTU, he is a member of the student chapter of the Wildlife Society, the Fisheries Association and the Society for Conservation. He is a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society and the Mortar Board Society.

He earned a 4.0 grade point average from Motlow State Community College during his studies for an associate degree in biology in 2011. He received a bachelor’s in biology from TTU in 2012.
