Through her sculptural furniture, Park tries to authenticate emotion into the work. The focus deals with the ever-changing points of life, when all one can do is step back and reflect.
“The decisions I have made and the reasons I found to help me continue on with my life are expressed in these works,” said Park.
Park holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in industrial design from Rhode Island School of Design and a master of fine arts degree in woodworking and furniture design from Rochester Institute of Technology.
She has applied experiences from around the world to her creative talents, studying in places such as Seoul, Korea; Florence, Italy; and Vienna, Austria.
