Craft Center hosts reception for metals artist in residence

  • Craft Center artist in residence Jason York will host a reception to close his exhibit of small metal vessels from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, July 13, at the Craft Center. 

thumb 09._York_Pearl_Box“The Pearl Relocation Program,” an exhibition of small metal vessels designed to hold one pearl will leave the Appalachian Center for Craft at Tennessee Tech University on Friday, July 13.

Before it goes, the Craft Center will host a closing reception with artist Jason York, the metals artist in residence, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on July 13.

All are welcome to come see the exhibit, talk to York, and enjoy light refreshments.

The Appalachian Center for Craft is conveniently located approximately six miles from Interstate 40 at Exit 273 (Smithville/McMinnville). Go south on Hwy. 56; turn left immediately after crossing Hurricane Bridge. This drive leads to the Craft Center.
