Faculty Research Committee Announces Call for Proposals for 2011-12

The Faculty Research Committee is soliciting proposals for funding for

2011-12. This year, proposals will be due at NOON, FRIDAY, JANUARY 21,

2010, in the Office of Research. One hard copy of the proposal must be

received before NOON (no proposals will be accepted after this time).

The maximum funding for a proposal is $5,000 per investigator. The

Handbook for Faculty Research Committee Grants provides details about

allowable expenses. The Handbook for the program is available through

the Office of Research website

Faculty members interested in learning more about preparing proposals

for consideration are invited to attend one of two seminars sponsored by

the Office of Research. The seminars are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and

4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2010, in the President's Conference

Room, Derryberry Hall.
