Furniture exhibit on display at TTU’s Craft Center

thumb CumberlandGuild_pressrelease_01Gallery Two of the Appalachian Center for Craft at Tennessee Tech University is full of handmade furniture works.

The exhibit is a collection of works by artists associated with the non-profit Cumberland Furniture Guild. The group is dedicated to education, service and putting on exhibitions of handmade furniture. The show is comprised of pieces juried by Phil Tennant. It will be on display until Oct. 23.

The galleries are open to the public daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Appalachian Center for Craft at TTU is conveniently located approximately six miles from Interstate 40 at exit 273, Smithville/McMinnville. Go south on state Route 56; turn left immediately after crossing Hurricane Bridge. This drive leads to the Craft Center.
