Hamilton County students receive awards from TTU

Two Hamilton County students were among those who were recently honored by Tennessee Tech University’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Camille Woods, daughter of Keven Woods of Chattanooga and Danette Woods of Memphis, received the Lonnie Glasscock Sr. Scholarship. A TTU junior geography major, Woods is a 2008 graduate of Tyner Academy.  She is a Student Government Association senator and a member in Alpha Lambda Delta and Zeta Phi Beta.

Stephen L. Lindberg, son of Janet and Bill Lindberg, received the Captain William Anderson Scholarship for Computer Science. A TTU junior computer science major, Lindberg is a 2007 graduate of the Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences. He is an Eagle Scout and a member of TTU’s Honors Program.
