RUTHERFORD COUNTY STUDENT NAMED TO TTU COLLEGE OF BUSINESS AMBASSADOR TEAM

Rutherford County student Erika Grocock was selected to be part of the College of Business Student Ambassador's team at Tennessee Tech University.

Grocock is a senior accounting major. She graduated from Eagleville High School in 2007. She received the HOPE, Paul L. Scarlett and Student Assistance scholarships. Grocock is a member of Beta Alpha Psi, president of the accounting club, Beta Gamma Sigma, Alpha Lambda Delta, wildlife society and TTU Newman Society. She is the daughter of Steve and Lori Grocock, and granddaughter of Freda Georgel Guy and Jean Grocock. After graduation, Grocock plans earn a master's degree in business administration and sit for the CPA exam.

The College of Business Student Ambassadors are students with strong communications skills. The group helps the college with several important endeavors including hosting various COB events (such as Fall Celebration donor dinner, Homecoming, WOW, Student-to-Career programs), making recruitment visits to high schools and community colleges, and providing tours of Johnson Hall and the TTU campus.
